In Year One, our children are enjoying the magical topic 'Enchanted Woodland'! It's a project which develops children’s knowledge of wildlife and woodland habitats, with our children observing and identifying plants and animals, learning about seasonal changes and appreciating the wonder of the woodland - and we're so lucky to have such beautiful places on our doorstep!
In the photos, you can see some of the beautiful woodland crowns that the children made during our lovely 'stay and learn' afternoon, which was attended by so many parents - thankyou! It was a great afternoon, and challenging too; our children and parents had to select from and use a wide range of materials and components, including construction materials, textiles and ingredients, according to their characteristics! Well done everyone!
