On Thursday 2nd May, we will be visited by some of the coaching team from Championship club Blackburn Rovers! They'll be working with all of our Key Stage 2 pupils and putting them through their paces on the football pitch - should be lots of fun and, for our budding footballers, a very useful insight into the professional game! Children in Yrs 3 to 6 are welcome to come to school in their sports gear for the day (but might be worth packing some spare socks and tops in case it rains - the sessions are going ahead even if it rains!).
The Rovers coaches are also running an open training session at the Bowl AstroTurf in Douglas. That's from 5pm to 6:30pm, and there's a £5 cost for that one (and the tea and coffee hatch will be open for business, too!) Please note the evening session is not a school event.
