Year 4 | The Vikings Are Coming!

Our Year 4 pupils have been diving into their exciting Traders and Raiders topic, exploring the arrival of the Vikings on our shores. Their learning has come to life through dramatic recount writing, told from the perspective of monks witnessing Viking longboats emerging from the mist and through impressive pencil illustrations of detailed longships complete with dragon‑headed prows, shields, and sweeping sails. The children have clearly embraced the drama and adventure of this period in history, producing atmospheric stories and artwork that showcase both imagination and historical understanding. We are incredibly proud of their effort, creativity and growing knowledge of this fascinating era - brilliant work Year 4!
