What a magical, musical treat our children enjoyed this week, with the visit of Simeon Wood! A renowned musician, he treated our children to some amazing renditions on the flute, recorder, piccolo......rubber glove and walking stick! Yes, Simeon has a very clever knack of getting a tune out of anything, as you can see in the picture! Simeon put on a great show, called "The Flute Emporium", in both Key Stages, and they were packed full of fun and enthusiasm (and staff!) of all ages. Instruments from the flute and whistle, didgeridoo, a walking stick, bottles and even a bicycle pump were featured, all to make some great music and provide bags of fun. It was a wonderful visit - thankyou Simeon for visiting our school!
