PGL 2026 Group 1 Day 3

Today, Group 1 began the day alongside the rest of the cohort on the Sensory Trail, where the experience was made even more memorable by an unexpected visit from some emus! After spending an hour and a half deprived of one of our senses, we were then treated to the full sensory experience of a thrilling vertical challenge.
Next came one of the highlights of the day, with everyone together for an exciting game of Archery Tag, followed by more fun on the lake with a canoeing session.
This evening, we joined five other schools to solve the mystery of a missing chocolate cake! The children took on a variety of challenges — from dancing to rapping — all in an effort to gain information from celebrity suspects, such as Scooby Doo and Percy the Penguin.
At this point, we might have hoped they would be exhausted, but a visit to the shop and the inevitable purchase of sweets provided a (hopefully brief!) second wind before bedtime.
A thoroughly successful day had by all!
