Our Reception children recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of art and craft as we welcomed artist Felicity Wood into school for a Manx cultural workshop. She introduced the children to characters from Manx mythology, including the legendary Mannanin Mac Lir, sparking plenty of curiosity and excitement. The session was hands‑on, creative and full of colour, and the children were completely absorbed as they explored the stories and produced some beautiful pieces of artwork. It was a lively, engaging way to connect with Manx heritage, and we’re very grateful to Felicity for giving our youngest learners such an inspiring experience.
