Our Reception children have produced some beautiful artwork which just puts a smile on your face! It's a great way to discover and learn about the natural changes that occur in the Autumn months - how the weather changes, why trees lose their leaves, how wild animals prepare for the winter...there's so much to find out! This lovely artwork came out of lots of discussion and observations, with plenty of questions for the children to think about; what colours are the leaves? Are the leaves on the trees different to the leaves on the floor? What has happened to the leaves? How do the brown leaves feel? What can you hear when you walk through the leaves? What do the leaves smell like? A wonderful way for children to explore the world around them and develop their expressive language!
