In Year 6, our children are enjoying the topic 'Fallen Fields'. They have studied some first-hand recounts of what life was like for soldiers in the trenches, and have read some genuine letters from the time to help them get a great understanding of how things were. That's inspired them to write their own letters, imagining that they were in the trenches themselves! You can see that they have made a great effort to make the letters look really authentic - even down to the redactions!
