Anti-Bullying Week got off to a great start today with loads and loads of our pupils wearing odd socks! The idea behind the day is to get the week started by thinking about how everyone is different, and that that is OK - the theme of the whole week is 'Choose Respect'.
A group of our Year 5 pupils presented a terrific assembly to the school which introduced the week, explained a little bit about the things that will be taking place and talked to the school about the different kinds of bullying that can take place.
This week, all of our children will learn about how to recognise bullying, what to do if you see it, hear it or are a victim of it, and what will happen to help you in any of those situations.
And simply, that all of these things can hopefully be avoided if we CHOOSE RESPECT.
