Last week, as part of the 'Stargazers' topic, our Year Five pupils were treated to a fantastic presentation by Howard Parkin, Chairman of the Isle of Man Astronomical Society. He gave a really excellent presentation and the children were completely engaged and amazed throughout - I'm sure Howard has lit a good few astronomical fires burning here!
Howards enthusiasm and incredible knowledge of his subject shone through and ensured our pupils were able to add to their own learning as well as share some of their own. We loved it, and we can't wait for Howard to visit Rhumsaa again and send us back into outer space!
