Tutankhamun!

Our Year 5 pupils have enjoyed a great start to their topic 'Pharaohs'! From enjoying the live mummification of one of their classmates (!) through to enjoying finding out about Howard Carter and the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb - in the pictures above you can see some examples of the children sharing their knowledge while working towards some of their Year 5 learning objectives; give clear, concise descriptions, explanations and narratives in different contexts, and give well-structured descriptions, explanations and narratives for different purposes, including for expressing feelings.
