Can I Have Some More?

During their excellent topic 'Revolution!', which focuses on the Victorian era, our Year 6 pupils have been studying Oliver Twist - and using this as a great inspiration for their own writing. It's been lovely to see how the children have developed their writing skills over this topic, starting with creating atmospheric, descriptive sentences and looking at how varying their sentence structure can help to create extra tension and emotion in the reader before applying those skills to an extended piece - and the results ware very promising, as you can see!
