Fantastic learning in Year 3 this week, as our pupils learned about the inventiveness and ingenuity of the Romans! The children were focused particularly on aquaducts, and were presented with a very exciting challenge - transport one litre of water as far as you can across the schoolyard! As you can see in the pictures, they found very successful solutions - and according to the children themselves, they found success by; listening to each other, understanding others, zooming in on the problem and picturing possibilities, working together and being thoughtful with resources! Excellent stuff, Year 3! And huge thanks to all who donated to our mountain of guttering!
