During the verification process, the school was praised for its warm, welcoming environment, high‑quality learning spaces and displays that celebrate pupils’ achievements and shared values. The verifier noted that the school’s approach to parent partnership is genuine, reflective and embedded within school improvement planning.
Communication was highlighted as a significant strength, with parents valuing the clarity and consistency of updates, as well as the school’s approachable, open‑door culture. Opportunities for parents to get involved in school life - through events, workshops, induction programmes and coffee mornings - were also commended for helping families feel connected and confident.
Feedback from parents, staff and pupils showed that families feel supported, listened to and valued, with children especially enjoying having their parents involved in trips, performances and celebrations. These strong relationships contribute to the school’s positive, community‑focused culture.
The school has also identified clear next steps to continue strengthening communication, curriculum understanding and parent voice. With these foundations in place, the verifier has recommended that Bunscoill Rhumsaa holds the LPPA for the next three years.
