Junior Achievement in Year Six

As always it has been a real treat to welcome the team from Junior Achievement to the school! They've been working in Year Six with the 'Our World' activity. Our World looks at why products are imported and exported. The effect of global supply and demand on the value, price, use and sustainability of the world’s resources. Students discover that businesses trade on a world-wide scale. They are introduced to the complexities of global trade between countries at different levels of economic development and available resources at their disposal. Students design a product and a marketing campaign taking into consideration the target market, they then present their idea to the rest of the class.
