The Life Aquatic!

These beautiful sketches are from some of our Year 4 pupils who are enjoying their inspirational topic, 'The Blue Abyss'! It's a fascinating project in which children learn about the human uses and physical features of the sea, developing their knowledge of ocean layers, sea exploration, food chains, habitats and pollution. And as you can see, it also allows for some wonderful drawings which, accompanied with plenty of fact finding and information sharing about these incredible sea creatures, makes for a whole lot of aquatic learning!
