Go Go Volcano! Learning Erupts In Year 3!

Published Monday 24 May 2021

There has been some explosive learning going on in Year 3 recently - thanks to their excellent topic 'Rocks, Relics and Rumbles'! This project teaches children about the features and characteristics of Earth's layers, including a detailed exploration of volcanic, tectonic and seismic activity - and it means that they get to make their very own volcanoes! Our intrepid geographers had a blast as they created their very own mini-eruptions in the sunshine - and as you can see in the photographs, it was a lot of fun!
