Year 2: Muck, Mess & Mixtures!

Our Year Two children are off to a flying start this year, and they're certainly keeping busy with their new topic, 'Muck, Mess and Mixtures!' This is a fantastic, fun topic in which we teach children about amazing materials and colour. It really develops children’s knowledge of how to mix colours and apply materials to create unique pieces of art. It also provides some amazing scientific investigations, including 'Which stuff is stickier'?, 'How is mud made'? and 'What shape is a bubble'? - lots of excellent, colourful learning on the way!
