What great, memorable experiences our Year 3 children have enjoyed to really kick off their new topic in style! The topic is 'Predator!', and our children have not only enjoyed an excellent trip to the Wildlife Park, they've also welcomed some real live owls into their classrooms! A wonderful, unique way to get started on this excellent, science-led topic which develops children’s knowledge of predatory animals, plants, food chains, habitats and teaches them the key parts and functions of animals and plants. With some terrific experiments and investigations and lots of opportunities for writing, its a topic which really moves our children on....and is a lot of fun, too!
