Our Year 5 children have truly impressed us with their wonderful artwork as part of their Tudors topic. Focusing on the wives of Henry VIII, the pupils created striking half-and-half portraits that blend historical imagery with their own artistic interpretations. Their drawings of figures such as Jane Seymour and Anne Boleyn show remarkable attention to detail, capturing the intricate clothing, jewellery, and features of the original portraits with great care and creativity. These pieces not only demonstrate their developing artistic skills but also reflect a deep engagement with history—bringing the past to life through art. Well done, Year 5!
